Internships

As an intern with Next Step Discipleship Ministries, part of your day will be spent "ministering to ministries" based in Midland, Texas. This West Texas city of 100,000 has become a hub for several national and international ministries. Come experience the many facets of daily work for the Lord. Each day interns will also take part in a discipleship curriculum covering topics such as relationships, freedom, apologetics, The Great Books, and inductive Bible Study. Room and board for all NSDM interns is provided in the family environment of church members' homes. Health insurance and monthly stpidends are provided. Midland Bible Church - Youth Ministry

MBC is looking for a youth intern to be responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of Sunday Night SrF (youth group). Responsibilities also include helping co-lead a Growth Group (small group). Under the supervision of the Youth Minister, this intern would get paid experience organizing and executing a ministry to approximately 60 youth and develop the skills of relating to youth and parents. Do you enjoy being around students? Do you have a heart for developing student leaders? Come refine your "upfront" skills and small group relationship with the youth of Midland, Texas.

Midland Classical Academy

MCA is a classical Christian elementary through high school. Here interns will have the opportunity to observe a teaching environment where discipleship is part of the classroom. All classes are taught in the Socratic Method by which students are taught how to learn in the hope that they will become lifetime learners. MCA is also proud of its athletics department, featuring half a dozen sport programs. Teaching and coaching internship are both available. No teaching certificate is required. Summer 2010

Get into the mind of international believers by participating in an intensive two-month Bible study, right alongside them. Watch as theological boxes are broken (perhaps even your own), when believers are taught to simply let God's Word speak for itself. Last summer we had 16 international pastors and church leaders attend from through Africa, China, and Russia.
